Locanda Margon - Trento
Just a few minutes drive off the highway, taking the exit „Trento Sud“ and driving towards „Ravina“ the signs of this exceptional restaurant appear just after the majestic building of the Ferrari Winery, owned by the Lunelli family, who also own this fantastic restaurant and the antique Villa Margon at a few minutes walk from the restaurant. The Chef Alfio Ghezzi takes his job very seriously and impresses already with his creative amuse bouches, may it be in the formal dining room or at the more casual veranda located in the gardens outside.
Make sure to visit the Villa Margon where part of the Italian history has been written and ask for a guide if available. www.locandamargon.it
Ursula’s Baby Walks… with the stroller
Both in summer and winter you can take your baby out for a walk with the stroller: the closest one to the hotel is the “Tru D’Artisc” across the river which takes you down to La Villa. If you take the cable car up to Piz Sorega in summer you can hike up to the Rifugio Bioch, a great place for food and a wonderful playground for kids… and there are more options for easy walks… the hotel provides strollers (for babies with more than 7 months).
Osteria al Castelletto
If you are in the Prosecco area (Valdobbiadene) it is a MUST to step by at the „Osteria al Castelletto” better known as “Da Clemi” for real local food. You will meet the soul of this little restaurant, Clemi, who will advise you on her daily menu. Look out for the other guests in the restaurant as you may meet famous Italian businessmen having their lunch.
Located in one of the most romantic settings, this family run “rifugio” is famous for the grilled meat specialties. In winter you can ski down from the Lagazuoi on one of the most breathtaking ski runs in the Dolomites. In summer it is always a good excuse to stop for lunch.

Up at the Piz Sorega, the Valentini Family runs their rifugio featuring on their menu among others Norbert Niederkofler’s dishes. Markus Valentini, “retired ski instructor”, oversees with charm his guests explaining them the fantastic 360° panorama. Open both in summer and in winter.
